All 70 passengers escaped unscathed from a   flaming bus that was totally destroyed on the Panama-David route on Saturday afternoon February 15.

According to firefighters who doused the flames, the fire occurred when the bus was traveling through the Los Ruices sector, on the Inter-American highway.

Other firefighters were called in when surrounding grassland was ignited.
