Members of the security forces in Colón seized 2.6 tons of drugs in the last two days, captured seven people, and seized three Go Fast speedboats.

This was reported by the Ministry of Public Security, this Sunday, May 16, which said that it was achieved by the "maritime blockade" that they implemented against criminal organizations and drug trafficking.

Juan Pino, the security minister, said the first four detainees were punished with nine years in prison.

“The operation with maritime blockade continues. We are going to avoid and prevent the drug from touching the coasts of Colón, it is a great effort by all units of the public force, which I recognize and I will never tire of doing it because it is a commitment to the homeland and especially to Colon ”, added.
