PETER MOSSACK, brother  of Jürgen Mossack  the co-founder of the law firm Mossack Fonseca,  has resigned as  Panama’s consul in Frankfurt, Germany, a position he has held since 2010.

The information was confirmed Friday, April 15, by Panama’s Ministry of Communications.

In the period he served as consul, Peter Mossack used the e-mail address panama@mossack.com, reports La Prensa.

Jürgen Mossack was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Ramon Fonseca Mora  was the second minister counsel of President Juan Carlos Varela, Both have   resigned since the Panama Papers revelations became public.

The research activities of Mossack Fonseca have been led by the German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
