Some 84,568 vaccines against Covid-19 were applied on Thursday, July 22, and on Friday Panama exceeded 2 million doses of anti-covid vaccines administered since  January 20, when the vaccination process began.

As of 10:50 am Friday, 1,993,989 doses had been placed, with hundreds of people still waiting in line  according to data from the National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG)

"They are good figures," said Health Minister, Luis Sucre, about the record immunization figures that have been achieved since last Wednesday, when a day of sweeps began, in 8 circuits of the country. The sweep strategy will continue, on more circuits, next week.

Next week the vaccination begins in Bocas del Toro and Veraguas from the age of 12, and in San Miguelito from the age of 16.
