A group of Panamanian scientists from the Institute of Scientific Research and High Technology Services (Indicasat AIP), has produced 2,000 reagents that are used as a culture medium for the viral transport of samples taken for the diagnosis of COVID19, which are carried out in Gorgas Commemorative Institute and other laboratories.

Currently there is a global shortage of the reagent, as the producing countries also need it and are limiting its export ”, said the entity on Monday, March 30.
