Over 1.6 million covid vaccinations

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Sunday, July 4, that 1,600,437 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 have been applied in Panama.

 Vaccination against covid-19  began with the Pfizer vaccine on January 20 and on April 20 the AstraZeneca vaccine  was administered to 18,000  men over 30 years old and women over 50 years old.

Airport   tests
The Minsa reported that since the Tocumen International Airport resumed its activities in October 2020, 156,017 tests have been carried out and, a total of 1,630 positive travelers with Covid-19 have been detected including two on Sunday.
