No covid deaths, 603 new cases

Panama did not register any deaths from covid-19 in the epidemiological week from Sunday, October 16 to Saturday, October 22, according to the latest report of the Ministry of Health. For the epidemiological week in which 19,022 tests were carried out, 603 new positive cases were registered, for positivity of 3.1% The total number of deaths in Panama to date, since the covid-19 pandemic began, is 8,506. The total number of active cases is 819 with 70 hospitalized in the ward and two in ICU.
