New batch of flu vaccine arriving as death toll reaches 34

AS THE influenza death toll in Panama rises to 34, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reports that a new batch of vaccines against the virus will arrive in Panama on Thursday, July 18. The  500,000 dose consignment was requested through the Pan American Health Organization Priority will be given pregnant women, children under 5 years of age, people over 60 years of age, the chronically ill and health workers.
