Respiratory therapy medical personnel of the Hospital Complex of the, Dr Arnulfo Arias Madrid Complex which handles the l the largest number of  Covid-19 patients, closed a lane of the Transistmica highway on Friday, July 10.

For two weeks,  reports TVN  they  have been demanding, the delivery of adequate masks since they allege that those ve provided them do not have sufficient protection and fear they will get the virus.

Similar problems have been reported from the United States where nursing organizations claim that masks have to be re-used for up to a week.

Stories are circulating  in the Health Ministry that an early shipment of masks from China was suited to wearing in fog but not for hospital use.

Recently, maintenance officials at the Arias Madrid CSS complex also came out to protest against the outsourcing of household and laundry services, in addition to requesting the hiring of more cleaning workers.
