Covid cases surge to 13,540

Active cases of covid -19 climbed to 13,540 on Wednesday, Jul 7, and eight new deaths were recorded bringing the total to 6,599. The Ministry of Health (Minsa)  said that after the application of 13,898 tests with 8.7% positivity,1,222 new positive cases were reported. There are 724  patients hospitalized and of them, 610 are in the ward and 114 in intensive care.
