Active cases of covid-19  climbed to 21,413 after 3,514 new infections were detected on Thursday, May 12 which shows positivity of 21.7%, according to a report from the Ministry of Health (Minsa). Most of the cases correspond to the Omicron B-A1 and B-A2 variants. 185 hospitalizations increased to 185 (64 in the ward and 21 in ICU).

The Minsa reminded the population that this weekend the vaccination in shopping centers such as Soho Mall, Albrook Transport Terminal, Alta Plaza, Metro Mall and Los Andes Mall, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
