The Ministry of Health (Minsa) began the application of the booster dose against covid-19 on Wednesday, October 13.

Those who have their two doses of Pfizer or AstraZeneca will receive a third from Pfizer, as reported by Minister-Counselor Eyra Ruiz.

The day began with health personnel, adults over 55 years of age, bedridden patients, people in nursing homes and homes.

Those who come to the vaccination centers must carry their vaccination card. They will be over 18 years of age whose jobs place them in a high-risk profile such as airport, port, health personnel, and people with chronic diseases, and they must have six months since the last dose was applied.

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, reported that the third dose for the population was approved at a meeting of the National Vaccine Commission, led by President Laurentino Cortizo.
