In the weekly epidemiological report, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that, from October 9 to 15, 725 new cases of covid-19 and one death.

In the last week they applied a total of 21,422 tests to detect covid-19. Positivity is at 3.3%.

There are 929 active cases, of which 857 are isolated at home, 65 hospitalized in a ward and 7 in intensive care units.

Panama has applied 8,652,344 doses of the vaccine against covid-19, of which 3,508,873 are first doses; 3,156,322 second doses; 1,727,806 first reinforcement and 242,263 second reinforcement. A total of 475,064 are pediatric doses.
