Panama’s Institutional Protection Service (SPI) attached to the Ministry of the Presidency is flouting legislation that regulates remodeling in Casco Viejo  that  prohibits installing air conditioning compressors on facades or that can be seen from the outside.

The  security force  which among other duties provides protection for  the president has enabled a dining room in the lower part of the sports field built on Eloy Alfaro Ave. and installed air conditioners on its façade.

Casco Viejo is a World Heritage site  and the  wall  is wall, an asset of the first order of the historical monumental complex reports  La Prensa

The installation is visible from the main entrance of the site and from Parque V Centenario.

WELL thats a easy fix, put a roof over them which will enclose them, so no one will be able to see them, it will also make the units run better to be out of the sun and rain. ALSO, allow others that own buildings there to do the same, since it's ok for them it should be ok for all.
