The United States Embassy in Panama has closed its consular section until further notice.

Emergency services for  US citizens, as well as visa-related emergency services, will continue to be available.

Processing of passports and visa applications by mail will also continue without interruption.

US citizens who need a consular emergency service, can write to PanamaACS@state.gov or call +507 317-5000. If they  have an emergency related to visa processing (for example, a medical emergency), they can refer to Panama-Visas@state.gov .
