Protests  against government spending record

The Panamanian Biocratic Movement (MOBIOPA) and the Federation of Professional Associations of Panama (Fedap) gathered at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) on  Wednesday to protest against the more than $8 billion spent in 15 months of the Government of President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen.

They also demand a dignified life for Panamanians and Panamanians.

"Cowardice and selfishness are not virtues. They are diseases. Panamanian do not get sick," said one of the banners

Another said: "We demand that public money be spent on priorities."

The group announced  that "after several meetings, a group of Panamanian citizens, mostly representatives of various social organizations, concerned about the structural situation that afflicts our country, in which a polluted system prevails in the political, economic, social, judicial and moral  environment that does is not concerned about a dignified life” on October 5, 2020, it built the Panamanian Biocratic Movement, to achieve the historical quality leap towards a biocratic system "
