Revenues of the Panama Canal closed at $ 3.365.9 billion during fiscal year 2019, an increase of 3.9% reports the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) .

 Toll revenues, mostly driven by the container ship segment were, $2,592.5  billion said a press release published on Thursday, October 24.

The rest of the income,  135.7 million, was generated from other Panama Canal businesses such as the production of drinking water ( 36.2 million) and electric power ($60.7 million). In addition to $152.5 million in interest earned.
