The rupture of a 24-inch distribution line awaiting weekend repair in El Crisol on  Friday, January 31,  left  over 20 sectors of the capital city,  without water said the National Aqueducts and Sewers Authority (Idaan).

Idaan reported that the affected sectors were Santa Clara, El Crisol, Villa Lucre, Los Caciques, La Pulida 1, VillaVerónica, San Cristóbal and Campo Limbert.

In addition, Concepción, Chanis, Llano Bonito Juan Díaz, San Pedro 1 and 2 La Radial, Las Acacias, Costa del Este, Costa Sur, Brisas del Golf, Monticello 1 and 2, Arboleda del Golf, Cerro Viento and San Antonio.

Previously The Idaan had announced  that on  Sunday it planned to carry out works aimed at improving the condition the line in El Crisol (on the Domingo Díaz road), but due to the damage that it has, the pipe did not withstand the water pressure. that caused the break.
