The Third Criminal Liquidation Court, has, notified the brothers Luis Enrique and Ricardo Alberto Martinelli, accused of  money laundering in the Blue Apple case, of the preliminary hearing on April 19 to May 28.

According to the note, the judicial assistance was sent to the Guatemalan authorities on October 29, 2020, consisting of the notification and summons to the process.

The statement specifies that according to article 2219 of the Judicial Code , during the preliminary hearing, the legal merit of the summary will be assessed, that is, it will be determined whether the requirements to proceed or not with the call for trial requested by the prosecution.

The brothers Ricado Alberto and Luis Enrique Martinelli have been detained in Guatemala since July 2020, following an extradition request by the United States Department of Justice.
