Lockdown ineffective  without  contagion  strategy

Another generalized quarantine will be ineffective without a strategy to break the chain of contagion and quickly reduce the number of cases that require hospitalization according to Panama’s  Chamber of Commerce (CCIAP).

He said the Cciap seeks to support the efforts made by health authorities to adapt and expand the capacity of the health system, by joining different actors in society to activate early care initiatives in the areas of greater contagion with the aim of easing hospital occupation and reducing the risk of persistent saturation of the system.

" Without a doubt, the current situation is one in which the community, employers, workers, society in general must add and provide solutions, executing actions in a planned and transparent manner. There will always be measures that will have to be adjusted in the face of inevitable human errors, but the north must be to anticipate the disease and prevent more people from reaching hospitals.”
