Panama President Laurentino Cortizo discussed the coronavirus pandemic with Canadian Prime Justin Trudeau on Saturday, June 13 According to Cortizo, Trudeau thanked the Panamanian people for their support in the repatriation process of several Canadian citizens.
The Canadian government press office noted that Cortizo and Trudeau “ recognized the significant economic and health impacts of COVID-19, and exchanged views on their respective national efforts to combat the pandemic and protect the well-being of their citizens.
