The Canada Plus Club’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, the first of a series of events raising funds for the staging of this year’s major charity performance, Carols By Candlelight, is a virtual sell out.
All the seats for the performances on September 18 and 19 are gone, and there are only six available for Monday September 17. That’s quite an achievement in Panama where folks are renowned for last minute booking.

The Audience at the Monday performance of “Last Call at Chez Mort”, directed by Gerry Roy, will be served Florentine Sea Bass along with dessert and two glasses of wine. They will get the chance to finger the “killer” and meet and mix with locals and expats f rom around the world.
Tickets for CanadaPLUS members are $35, for guests $40. If you want to get in on this fun filled evening, call 6619 6890 or email

CANADIAN THANKSGIVING
Keep that information handy because that’s what you will need to reserve a place at the Canadian Thanksgiving Celebration on Monday September 1 , and that too is heading for a sell out with over 70 percent of the tickets gone within a week of the announcement. And no wonder. With a turkey dinner and all the trimmings, a gourmet menu, and a two hour open bar (including wine), music and dancing and stars of Opera Panama, its an occasion not to be missed.
You don’t have to be Canadian to join in the celebration. The CanadaPLUS Club has among its over 260 members, people from over a score of countries, including Panama. If your new to the country, a great opportunity to get your bearings and make some new friends.
The Canadian and British ambassadors are among the invited guests.
Tickets are $55 for member $65 for guests.
