The Fifth Citizens' Assembly held in Panama Saturday, May 19, views with concern “the dynamics of absolute irrationality occurring in the exercise of power by the authorities.
University professor Miguel Antonio Bernal said that the assembly discussed social, political and economic issues.

Also part of the movement is the National Union of Lawyers, the Center for Panamanian and Social Action, the Federation of Associations of Panama Professionals, the Autonomous General Confederation of Workers The Research Center for Human Rights and Legal Aid of Panama, the Panamanian Association of Constitutional Law, the National Bar Association The Lawyers Unionist Movement (MAG), the Center for Environmental Advocacy (CIAM), the National Network to Support Children and Adolescents in Panama as well as independent members. The assembly will reconvene on July 14 .
