Two men were shot in separate incidents on different parts of the Cinta Costera early on Thursday afternoon, December 11. Both victims are in the Hospital Santo Tomás

Near the Maracana stadium, on Cinta Costera 3 a man in a Hummer brand SUV, received at least three bullets.
Users of social networks have posted pictures showing, the shot up vehicle.
A source at the National Police said that people involved in the shooting left the vehicle in the area of Rodman. Police operations are ongoing but no one has been detained.
The second incident was in the area of Parque Urracá , Bella Vista, which is near the residence of President Juan Carlos Navarro.
There was a dispute between rival gangs that left one wounded, after an exchange of fire.
According to police reports a 16-year-old who was walking through the park and was attacked by another man with a gun.
It was reported that the victim was shot seven times in different parts of the body, and was taken to St. Thomas Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Officials of the Institutional Protection Service (SPI) have arrested a suspect.
 The authorities have been unable to ascertain whether there is a relationship between the two events.
