Young woman killed in Via Argentina condo
THE BODY of Maria Fernanda Fernandez De Leon, daughter of the of electoral delegates president Faustot Fernandez, was found on, Friday, December 6 at the Vista Bella building on Via Argentina in El Cangrejo, The Assistant Attorney of the homicide unit is investigating the incident.
The body is reported to have fallen from the building and to have received stab wounds.
The judge of the Electoral Court, Eduardo Valdes Escoffery, confirmed the death of the 29 year old woman.
Public Ministry sources say the research is in charge of Prosecutor Maruquel Castroverde, femicide specialist, reports La Prensa.
President Juan Carlos Navarro visited the building on Friday evening to deliver his condolences.
The same sources said that the body had at least one puncture wound and the prosecutor is awaiting the report of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.
The Bella Vista building has 15 floors. Fernández De Leon lived on the 10th floor.
El Siglo quotes a police source as saying there were five stab wounds.
