Two homes hit in vehicle accidents involving 15 injured

A TAXI and a delivery truck carrying supplies collided head on and ended up in a house in the La Primavera, a few meters from the entrance of the La Duque neighborhood, in the district of Chepo on Saturday September 13, while in Rio Hato a bus ran into a residence.

Five  passengers in the vehicles, were injured and taken to the emergency room of Chepo Regional Hospital, reports la Prensa.
The vehicles ended up in the doorway of a residence where children were playing, but none were injured.
"This street was made for horses. Two cars do not fit well and people drive at speed. There have been well over eight ugly accidents and we asked for “dead police”but there has been no response from the authorities.” Said local resident Agrippa de Santo.
Meanwhile a bus on the Aguadulce - Panama route crashed into a residence in Rio Hato, near Bique.
Preliminary reports indicated 10 people were injured.
Units of the Panama Fire Department and the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) attended victims of the accident.
