Suspended judge's lawyer resigns from case

SIDNEY Sitton, the defense lawyer for suspended Supreme Court Judge Alejandro Moncada Moon resigned from the case Friday December 12 .

 The Prosecutor has demanded the phone history of Moncada Luna and several witnesses connected to a $ 1.8 million interest free loan he claims-have received, and more bank accounts linked to him have been frozen.
Sittón claims- he was not allowed to exercise a proper defense for violation of due process by the National Assembly deputy, Pedro Miguel González acting as prosecutor and Guarantees Judges Katleen Levy, Ana Matilde Gomez and Zulay Rodríguez.
The lawyer filed the letter of resignation to the office of the Guarantees Judges and Gonzalez.
Moncada Luna, accused of money laundering and illegal enrichment remains under house arrest in one of the Coco Del Mar apartments he purchased for $1.7 million.
