Surfing Tour returns to Panama

SIXTY-FOUR  International professional surfers, including 12 Panamanians  will compete in a four day event with the return of The Latin American Surf Tour to  Pedasi March 16-19

The competition, organized by  Panamanian surfer Gary Saavedra, is valid for the ranking of the Latin American Tour of the Latin American Association of Professional Surfers (ALAS).

"It will bring together the best surfers in the region competing for $25,000 prize money ” said Saavedra.

Among the international professional surfers who will participate in the female categories  are:  World Surfing Champion Sofía Mulanovich (Peru),;  ISA World Champion Analí Gómez (Peru); ISA World Sub-champion  Dominic Barona (Ecuador),

In the men's categories  will be: Latin American Champions Martin Passeri (Argentina) and  Lolo Bellorin (Venezuela). Pan American  Champion Manuel Selman (Chile);  Master World Champion, Magnum Martínez (Venezuela); and ISA World Champion Oli Camarena (Panama)

The event will also attract sports media   from around the world providing a fillip for Pedasi tourism
