Schoolgirls in underclothes  while with a group of adults on a bus traveling to Panama are being investigated by Panama’s Ministry of Education.

The students were held on Monday afternoon by the National Police for being allegedly involved in “misconduct” on the bus route Tumba Muerto - Torrijos Carter while they were traveling near the Centennial Bridge.
Police said that eight children (seven female and one male) were detained when they were inside the bus in the company of 10 adults.

The police told local media that some of the children were in underwear and others wearing school uniform.

Deputy Minister of Education Mirna de Crespo said that these students will face sanctions ranging from suspension to expulsion.
