JONATHAN GUARDIA ANDRIÓN became the third member of the same family ordered to remain in preventive detention following his interrogation by the 5th Anti-corruption Prosecutor, on Tuesday August 11.

 He is the son of the former director of the National Assistance Program (PAN) Rafael Jaen Guardia, and was interrogated about the alleged crime of money laundering.
His investigation follows the money trail of millions of dollars obtained through the alleged payment of "kickbacks" and other irregularities in contracts and purchases made by the PAN in the last government.
Loraine Brigitte Guard Juarez, daughter Guard Jaen,was arrested for the same case since last week.
She appeared in several of the companies created by her father to 'cover up' the money from the "bribes" received through the PAN, according to the investigations being conducted by the office of Janeth Rovetto.
The two offspring are detained in the DIJ police center in Ancon. Their father is in the El Renacer prison.
