Six rescued in sex-trafficking raid

SIX SEX SLAVES aged between 19 and 22 were rescued from a house in Bethania, Panama City  on Thursday, January 28  in the first raid by the special prosecutor of organized crime  against trafficking this year.

The girls were found in a 10 roomed house ,Two suspected traffickers were arrested .and $3,400 and a Toyota  Prado Land Cruiser were seized

The girls were from  Colombian, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela. Two have college degrees  one is a nurse  and another a marketing specialist.

Arrested were a Salvadorian man and  Colombian woman.
This was the first trafficking  busy  in 2016. Last year 55 people were rescued and 35 members of different organizations captured.
