SEVEN PEOPLE have been charged with the gunning down of a family in Chorrera last weekend, said the Public Ministry (PM) on Monday, September 14.

 The MP said in a statement that seven people (all adults and Panama) were presented with charges of "homicide, femicide and criminal conspiracy." Two other minor "allegedly involved in the massacre events are held under the orders of the Teens Superior Prosecutor," reports La Prensa
The killing of four members of one family took place Friday,September 12 near midnight at the bottom of a building in the San Antonio neighborhood of La Chorrera, capital of Panama West province
A couple and their children, aged four and nine years, were shot with 9mm guns and an AK-47, according to police reports
