Prepaid cards available at  1,000 points of sale, will be in use on all Metro bus routes in Panama, starting February 15.

Sonda, the financial manager of the Metro Bus payment system, said Wednesday, the cards carrying the Metro Bus logo, will cost  $2, and will l be available  from January 15  at Metro Bus Card Bus, located at: The Marañón, Plaza 5 de Mayo, La Doña, Los Andes, Pedregal and Los Pueblos. Other locations will be announced later. Minister of the Presidency, Demetrio Papadimitriu, said the fee for using the Metro Bus will remain at 25 cents  for city routes and $1.25 to outlying areas. Student fares will remain at 10 cents.
