TEACHERS, public safety personnel, health and agricultural science workers will benefit from wage increasesin 2015 said  Minister of Economy and Finance, Dulcidio De La Guardia, on Thursday, September 19, while laying out the budget  to the National Assembly Budget Committee .

De La Guardia said the project includes a wage increase of $300 plus benefits for 44,  243 educators, a payout of $196 million dollars for next year.

"The educators increase was achieved by union agreement with the authorities in June” said De La Guardia.

About 23,586 public security workers  will get a $100 raise costing of $33 million.

In line with union agreements with the authorities,health workers in the  Social Security Fund (CSS) will get an increase along with  919 officials in the agricultural sciences sector of the government.
