Panama gets go ahead for new park

PANAMA’S  Comptroller General has endorsed the contract for the construction of  a 20 hectare  municipal park in Chilibre at a cost of $16.9 million.

The park, in the community of San Vicente, will be built by the consortium North Park Group, consisting of companies Constructora Pirenaica, S.A., and Grupmas Constructors, S.L.

The public space will have sports  facilities, a  skating arena , trails and an amphitheater, among other items.
