FOR 20 MONTHS, no hearing has been held in the two criminal cases that follow the fortunate  ex-CEO of Ingresos Luis Cucalón. The explanation is that the prolonged hospitalization of the ex-official has allowed him to avoid the action of justice.

If the excuse is the long rosary of sufferings of the  accused, it would be expected that as a result of the extensive hospitalization, his personal situation would be much better and  he could face, in the courts, the accusations against him.

How many deprived of their liberty have critical illnesses, the same or worse than those of Mr. Cucalón?

In prisons Panamanians are detained with terminal illnesses, and face a deplorable health situation, But none has been granted the benefit of 20 months of hospitalization in the medical center of his choice,.

We  hope this case does not continue with the delay   of the criminal action. This demerits Justice and raises the cry of how long!
