Daniel Arquímedes Jiménez Ramos, 22, the driver of a minibus was killed when he drove into a hydrant on his way to work on the Olá-Penonomé route, early on Wednesday, June 27.

The accident happened on the Inter-American highway near the community of El Caño, district of Natá, province of Coclé. His death brings the total of highway fatalities in Cocle  Province this year to 22.

Seven people were injured and taken to hospital when a 4x4 made an illegal turn in Tocumen and slammed into a busito knocking it onto its side at 7.30 am. on Tuesday in San Antonio Tocumen.

Three ambulances took the injured to the emergency room of the Irma Lourdes de Tzanetatos hospital in Tocumen.
