AN EARLY MORNING  Diablo Rojo on the Chepo Corridor-Sur  bus route  hit  a sedan from behind and caused a three vehicle collision on Wednesday June 1.

Fire brigade  staff used the jaws of life to extricate the 22-year-old sedan driver who  was air-lifted to Santo Tomas Hospital where he died  in the ICU bringing the total of traffic  fatalities for the year to date to 197, on track to surpass the 2016  figure.

A seven vehicle collision  in front of the Los Andes Mall in San MIguelito  at noon on Thursday sent four people to hospital

A water truck,carrying 8,500 gallons  collided with  six vehicles.

One of them was a Nissan Sentra taxi, which had just dropped off passengers and was crushed

The driver was removed from the wreckage by fire service first responders,  and taken to the San Miguel Arcángel,Hospital  where he was  detained with serious injuries e left another three  injured, one of them the driver of a motorcycle. The incident caused a major traffic jam.
