METRO OPERATOR Mi Bus suspended its lawsuit before the International Court of Arbitration over its contract to run the Panama bus service after reaching a tentative agreement with the government,
Minister of Government Milton Henrí¬quez represented the government at the negotiations that ended the dispute.He said that this step can lead to a permanent agreement that would end the lawsuit.

He added that next week there will be a second meeting to coordinate other aspects to improve transportation in the districts of San Miguelito and Panama, reports La Prensa.
Mi Bus was in frequent conflict with the previous administration following user complaints over service, and faced heavy sanctions. Former President Martinelli had threatened to annul the contract awarded by his government.
