Marksman joins Panama Olympic squad

MARKSMAN  David Muñoz, 52,  has been  chosen as Panama’s sixth participant  in the Rio De Janeiro 2016  Olympics in August.  He will be competing in the 10 meters and 50 meters air pistol events.

He joins   four athletes who qualified directly: Alonso Edward, Yvette Lewis and Jorge Castelblanco (athletics); and Carolena Carstens (taekwondo) and invited gymnast Isabella Amado.

Munoz was invited by the tripartite commission of the International Olympic Committee.for "Good performance" in various international tournaments, including the 2015 Pan American Games.

Swimmer Edgar Crespo is marked B (invitation) for the 100 meters breaststroke but continues participating in competitions to seek a direct pass
