A man driving a car towards Panama City on the Corridor Sur was shot and killed at Llano Bonito on Friday afternoon, June 29 in what is believed t be a gangland assassination.

He was intercepted by another vehicle and there were multiple shots from an automatic weapon.

A police source said that they are checking the cameras at the exits of the corridor to verify the license plate of the car carrying the killer.

The incident slowed traffic in both directions of the Corridor while  Public Ministry crime scene staff removed the body.
