BAYANO local representative Antolí¬n Antonio Vega died Monday , November 24,from injuries caused by an accident with a machete while working on his farm.

According to sources, the representative slipped and cut himself with a machete on his farm located in Flor Amarilla, reports La Prensa
Vega was rushed to Joaquin Pablo Francos Sayas Hospital in Las Tablas, where he was declared dead reports La Prensa.
Vega was the representation of Bayano from 1989-1994 and 1999-2004. In the May 4 election he won as a candidate for the CD.
The deputy representative is Silvino Sánchez
