ONE STOP SHOPPING for liquor and a remedy for the morning after at your local pharmacy or liquor supplier has come to an end in Panama. The National Assembly has passed a new law that will prevent pharmacies from selling any kind of liquor.

The announcement was published Monday, September 22 in the Government Gazette. "Failure to comply with this article entails the suspension of the operating license for a period of thirty days. In the event of recidivism, the license will be cancelled," the law says.
The standard also includes a provision that any shop that sells medications may not have liquor on display reports La Prensa.
