EXCESSIVE heavy rains in the Azuero region injured five, caused the  collapse of two structures and flooded the stands of merchants at the International Fair in Villa Las Santos on Saturday, April 30. The downfall lasted 45 minutes.

The National Civil Protection SINAPROC) reported that the Herrerano Pub collapsed when the area occupied by the disc jockey prevented  the free flow of water and the structure gave way

The Nissan exhibition stand also collapsed damaging six vehicles, four of them severely.

The Fair runs through Monday May 2.
