The Emergency Operations Center (COE) reports has raised the weather warning to a Green Alert  alert in Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas, Ngäbe Buglé and Colón.

There is a   prevention warning of for the rest of the country, because of a "rainy scenario on both sides due to the tropical wave No. 18 ", together with the activation of an intertropical convergence on the country.

The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported that it will reinforce monitoring and staff will be available in areas where preventive evacuations have occurred to mitigate the impact.
