NOT UNEXPECTEDLY  the price of gas at the pumps will follow plunging oil prices on Friday  Oct 22, and with current forecasts  91 octane could fall to 50 cents a liter by the end of February.

How much of the lower cost of fuel will affect prices in stores and restaurants is another matter.

The National Secretariat of Energy   repored Wednesday, that 95-octane gasoline will drop four cents to  62 cents a liter, while 91 octane, also down four cents will be   58 cents a liter.

Diesel will be 3 cents lower at  46 cents a liter.

The new prices  will remain until  February 5, when you can expect a further cut.
