THE COLON FREE ZONE major fire that brought Panama fire units rushing to to support local brigades on Friday, November 8. affected at least 13 companies.

It was the third fire at the site in less than 45 days.

Caco Abo Internacional S.A., Textela, Top Shoes, Logistic American Target, Marketing Security, Mabal, Gin Chan y Quality Frai were some of the companies affected.
Colon Fire Chief Edmundo Sterling said it will take several days to completely put out the fire, though it is now contained to a small area.
"Our units are continuing to work to completely quell the flames," Sterling said.
Firefighters used water from a nearby swimming pool to help fight the blaze, which was reported at 8 p.m.
