WITH scores of thousands  Panamanians on Oceanside beaches  or rivers  for the Easter weekend The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) issued an alert on Saturday  April 15  over extreme levels   of ultraviolet radiation.

It followed an earlier warning to swimmers  about potential high winds ahead  of rainstorms,  creating waves and yellow alert flags were raised.
