A WARNING of extreme  ultraviolet radiation (UV) was issued  by Etasa Hydro meteorological Center   on Saturday, April 30, for most of the Panamanian Isthmus.

Rates drom 11-13 are forseen  for the Guna Yala the province of Panama, Veraguas, Herrera, Los Santos, Bocas del Toro, the Ngäbe-Bugle and maritime sectors in the Caribbean and the Pacific .

Meanwhile, rates of UV radiation from 8 to 10 (very high) are forecast to Costa Abajo de Colon, Darien West and the Embera.

The use of #50 sunscreen is recommended, every two hours, as well as remaining in the shade  and wearing a hat.
