During the reign of President Martin Torrijos, there was strong criticism by the Ricardo of the advertising budget, but under the new administration the budget remains high.

The Ministry of the Presidency  has announced the allocation of  $2.5 million . to publicizing government projects.

According to the Ministry  the budget will be used to disseminate advances in government projects, such as continuity of the "Choose Your Life, program",  "Metro Bus " and the provision of uniforms, supplies and textbooks,
